I know I'm a little behind on this piece of news but it's still tearing me up so here it is:

Last month Pat Robertson called for the assassination of Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez. Pat Robertson, you know the guy that's head of the 700 club, I know you know who they are. Part of what is known as the "Almighty" Right Wing Christian masses that are forcing their way into our lives. Spending all their efforts fighting and preaching against gays, abortion, stem cell research, sex education, pretty much everything that makes sense and single handedly trampling our freedoms in Jesus' name.Now I am sure they will join Pat's next Christian crusade, and let's be honest what could be more Christian than killing people.

Especially somebody like Hugo Chavez, another one of those fucking Christ - hating commies and good old Pat is gonna tell us how to handle that kind of scum.

"If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead ad do it."

"It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war."

"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. W don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one strong - arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some covert operatives do the job and then get it over with." Well I don't know how you feel but "Praise Jesus" that good old Pat is thinking so much on how to keep us safe. I even agree with the brilliant statement "We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one strong - arm dictator." No shit Pat. What the hell does he think will happen if we take him out? A war? Probably not but the country does like the guy. They wouldn't just roll over and be happy we took out someone who they think is acting in their best interest.
Anyway it won't be necessary because a couple of days later Pat digressed saying:

"I didn't say 'assassination.' I said our special forces should 'take him out!' And 'take him out' can be a number of things , including kidnapping g; there are a number of ways to take out a dictator from power besides killing him. I was misinterpreted by the AP, but that happens all the time."

Pat Robertson and these religious nuts are exactly what's tearing this country apart. These people are great for trying to tell you how to run your life, don't sin, be a fine moral Christian but they do the exact opposite in their own lives. Mr. Robertson is an excellent example of that considering he had business ties to President Mobutu of Zaire, who just happened to be a strong - arm dictator. He asked his 700 clubers to pray for a vacancy on the Supreme Court, which essentially is praying for a person's death. What a nice Christian thing to do. Pat Robertson should keep his fucking mouth shut. I don't care about his opinion on anything because of where he stands. The guy is an idiot when it comes to domestic affairs what could he possibly know about international affairs. He should stick to what you he does best which is talking about God and fleecing dumb religious people out of their money.
